Radial Forge Operator

- Start up and operation of the Radial Forge
- Produce forgings per customer specifications.
- Supervise and sign off on loading of furnaces
- Run furnace programs and record with furnace charts and maps.
- Provide leadership and instruction to other members of the forge operations crew.
- Ensure proper tooling is available before charging material.
- Direct forge crew in housekeeping duties.
- Complete all documentation and scanning as required.
- Scheduling of daily work load to meet expectations set out by Manager.
- Complies with company policies and procedures.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by management
- Adhere to and enforce all safety rules & guidelines as outlined by the Patriot Special Metals safety manual. Complete First aid reports, Accident investigation & reporting when required.

Working hours: First Shift

--Post secondary technical education in metallurgy or related discipline.
--Experienced in a forge shop
--Familiarity with material handling equipment (overhead cranes and forklifts) and the safe handling of large objects.
--Ability to interpret technical drawings.
--Ability to follow written instructions.
--Good communication skills.-
--Demonstrated leadership skills.
--Aware of hot forging principles.
